Frequently asked questions about our big day!
What is the address and time of the wedding ceremony?
The address of our venue is 738 E Main St, Belhaven, NC 27810 and our ceremony is at 5PM - please arrive at least 10 -1 5 minutes early - as our ceremony will begin at 5pm!
Where should we stay?
Check airbnb for the CLOSEST places to stay! There are also a couple hotels within a 30 minute drive!
We have reserved rooms at our venue for wedding party and immediate family!
Are we allowed to take photos at your wedding? Can we post on social media?
Our wedding day is going to be the most important day of our lives thus far. I am happy to have you document it, and your experience! However, we will ask that during our ceremony and formal events such as first dance you are ever present in that moment with us. It will absolutely break my heart if I look back on my wedding day photos and videography and see your phones instead of your smiling faces!
In a perfect world; we would like to be the first to post photos of us from our wedding day. I promise it won't take me long; please wait to post photos of us until we post ourselves.
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We will have a variation of delicious foods served between the cocktail hour and dinner. Including shellfish - we will have alternate options for anyone with an allergy or dietary restriction such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free - etc
It is of utmost importance that you include this information on your RSVP - we have a designated section where you will fill this in.
Is there parking onsite?
There is parking on site via the road beside the venue and a small parking lot behind the manor - however if you are close enough to walk over from your airbnb we ask that you do that!
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Our wedding is a formal event; dress should ideally be formal or semi formal.
Ladies - full length dresses, cocktail dresses, evening dresses or pantsuits
Gentlemen - Suits, blazers with slacks, button up shirts
If you would like to match our theme the colors are SPRING PASTELS, NAVY and NEUTRALS
Will there be an open bar?
We will have beer, wine and select cocktails for our guests to enjoy. We want you to have fun and also be safe! If you plan on drinking we HIGHLY recommend you stay in town overnight.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
There are! We know all of you are traveling to be with us on our wedding day so we are doing our best to make you feel at home in Belhaven with us! Click HERE to see more about our wedding weekend events!
Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes! Our venue is handicap accessible to the deck and main floor of the manor. There are also a couple of handicap parking spots on the side of the manor.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Check your invite - your RSVP card has the number of seats reserved for your party. We also listed each person invited on your envelope.
Little Ones: So many of our friends have children - whom we love SO VERY MUCH - but in lieu of venue limitations and overall guest experience we have opted for an adult only event.
The only children in attendance will be our immediate family and god children.
HOW DO I RSVP? WHAT IS THE DEADLINE?
We kindly ask that you RSVP using the pre-stamped envelope and card in your invitation. Please fill it out with your names, if you will attend any other wedding weekend events and any allergies or dietary restrictions you
may have.
Our deadline for RSVP is March 1st, this is so we can give our caterer and other vendors adequate time to prepare for our wedding and our guests!
Where are you two registered?
Thank you so much for the thought; your presence is enough! But if you insist, we have made a registry with a few items - but our most wanted gift is a donation to our honeymoon fund. We are registered on Zola, the link HERE will take you directly to our registry. If you would like to drop off your gift before the wedding or mail it to our home please feel free! We will also have a space for them at the wedding but again a gift is not necessary!
